“I have a great camera, but I've never read the manual. I wish I knew how to take better photos.” It's a common problem. Most people never get past the Quick Start guide and explore just what their cameras can do. My personal philosophy is that photography is more about the photographer and less about the equipment. I firmly believe that the best camera is the one you have with you at the moment. My photo lessons are based around that statement. You don't need a $3000 DSLR to take great photos. What you do need a basic understanding of light, exposure, and composition. The process taught me so much more. As photographers, we are not always presented with a beautiful sunset or sweeping landscape. Most of the time, we are capturing the rhythm of everyday life.
